Litlaá is a unique and highly productive trout river fed directly by Lake Skjálftavatn, often called the “earthquake lake. One of the defining features of Litlaá is a geothermal branch that flows into the river.

Mýrarkvísl promises an unforgettable experience. Anglers can expect to reel in impressive numbers, often averaging 10-15 catches a day during peak season.
Brunná in Öxafjörður
River Brunná in Öxarfjordur is a gin clear arctic char and sea trout river on the north/east coast of Iceland. This spectacular river flows through wonderful surroundings, offering areas of unique beauty and diversity.

Itinerary Overview
Each angler goes trough a curated river rotation so everyone gets to fish everything.
Day 1 – May 31st: Pickup in Akureyri airport by your guide. Check in to Árnes lodge 14:30 and prepate for an evening session o nthe river.
Day 2 – June 1st: Morning session 8:00 – 13:00 evening session 16:00 – 21:00
Day 3 – June 2nd: Morning session 8:00 – 13:00 evening session 16:00 – 21:00
Day 4 – June 3rd: Morning session 8:00 – 13:00 evening session 16:00 – 21:00
Day 5 – June 4th: Morning session 8:00 – 13:00 evening session 16:00 – 21:00
Day 6 – June 5th:
Day 7 – June 6th Final morning session: fish untill 12:00, Lunch, packing & departure. Dropoff in Akureyri airport by your guide.
