Iceland Fishing Guide offers guided fishing tours to many lakes and rivers in Iceland. The tours are suitable for beginners as well as experienced anglers and the customer can choose from day tours or longer. Iceland Fishing Guide specializes in personal service and are able to customize the tours upon request. The guides are expert anglers and have extensive experience in fishing in the area. The licenses needed for the fishing tour are arranged in advance of the tour.

We use various rivers in Northern Iceland for our day tours depending on availability but in most of our day tours we use the river Big Laxá in Adaldal along with Geitafellsá and Eyvindarlækur.

For our spin fishing lake option we use lake Langavatn, Vestmannsvatn or Kringluvatn.

Price for all inclusive day tour.

The price is from 65.000 isk per person. There is a minimum of two participants each trip or the minimum fee of 100.000 isk for single anglers.

Schedule morning with pickup:

The day tour is 6 hours in total so if you require pickup and drop off the time spent fishing is about 4 hours.

07:00 Pickup at a Hotel/Guesthouse and head to the river.
08:30 – 12:30 Fishing.
13:00 Drop off at your Hotel/Guesthouse

Schedule afternoon with pickup:

The day tour is 6 hours in total so if you require pickup and drop off the time spent fishing is about 4 hours.

15:30 Pickup at a Hotel/Guesthouse and head to the river.
16:30 – 20:30 Fishing(Fishing time is 15:30 – 20:30 in September & October).
21:30 Drop off at your Hotel/Guesthouse

Schedule morning without pickup:

When you meet the guide on location you will fish for full 6 hours.

07:00 Meet your guide on the river.
07:00 – 13:00 Fishing.

Schedule evening without pickup:

When you meet the guide on location you will fish for full 6 hours.

16:00 Meet your guide on the river (Meeting time is 15:00 in September & October)).
16:00 – 22:00 Fishing (Fishing time is 15:00 – 21:00 in September & October).

Note that all fishing equipment brought to Iceland must be disinfected upon arrival to Iceland at the airport.
