Salmon Fishing

The generous numbers of Salmon caught throughout the season, sea run arctic char are not uncommon as well as brown trout up 5lb. The river consists of three beats on a daily rotation with vehicle access to each beat. An ideal 3-day fishing trip for a few mates or a family looking to get lost in Iceland’s beautiful wilderness.

Deildará comes with a spacious self or full catering lodge with three double ensuite rooms. The comfortable, sea side lodge boasts a hot tub (with a view, see image) sauna, 3 twin en-suite rooms, 1 single room, dining room, kitchen and sitting room. The lodge offers self-catering service. However full catered services can be arranged upon request.
